📌 Quick Start Menu Guide
PIM project must first be created in DOFSync before scanning with the FREEDOM Air PIM solution.
Use the 'Quick Start' menu in DOFSync to quickly create a PIM project and begin scanning.

Follow the steps below to create a PIM project and add a CAP Scanbody.
1. Create Project from 'Quick Start'
- Open the 'Quick Start' menu, enter the patient's name, and click the 'Scan+PIM' button.
- The PIM project is automatically created, and the Indication window appears.
2. Apply PIM Teeth And MUA Library
- Select the implant placement positions and tooth numbers in the Indication window.
It is recommended to select the exact number of implants for the patient. - In the Indication window, use the mouse to remove or add tooth positions to change the number of PIMs and the tooth positions.
- After selecting all tooth numbers, click the 'Select Library' button to open the 'Select Library' window.
- In Select Library, choose All > Scanbody Type > MUA Library.
After selecting the MUA library, click Apply to All or Save to apply the MUA library to the PIM tooth numbers.
* Reflect All: Applies the same library to the MUA of all selected PIM tooth numbers.
* Save: Applies the library only to the MUA of the selected PIM tooth number.
3. Apply CAP Scanbody Library
- After applying the MUA library to all PIM teeth, click 'Select Library' in the CAP Scanbody Library section.
- Select the CAP Scanbody library to use, then click 'Apply All' or 'Save'.
(For DOF CAP Scanbody: PIM Type > DOF > DOF Cap Scanbody)
4. Save And Scan
- Check the applied MUA and CAP Scanbody libraries, then click 'Save & Scan' to start scanning.
- Launch ScanApp i (Air), then follow the recommended workflow to complete each scan step.
Once scanning is finished, proceed to the 'Confirm' step to generate the data.
