📌 Basic Interface Overview
The ScanApp i (Air) interface is composed as shown below.

1. 04 Add And Display Scan Steps
- Scan Steps:
When ScanApp i (Air) is launched, the maxillary·mandibular base, and bite scan steps are created by default.
Additional scan steps can be added as needed through DOFSync order settings or the Add Scan feature.

This step scans the occluded state of both arches to align the data of each arch. |

This step uses the PIM Guide to scan the PIM scanbodies outside the oral cavity. ※ This step can only be added through the DOFSync order form. |
Maxillary·Mandibular |
This step aligns the PIM scanbody data with the edentulous base data. |

Confirm |
This step calculates the scan data and allows review of the final results. After all scans are completed, move to the confirm step to generate and review the final scan data. |
- Add scan step feature:
When Add Scan is clicked, a secondary menu appears at the bottom of the screen, as shown in the image below.
From the secondary menu, maxillary/mandibular pre-scan and scanbody scan steps can be selected and added.

2. 05 Scanner Status Indicator
Before starting the scan, check the scanner status displayed in the upper-right corner of the main screen.

The scanner is powered off. Press the D-Pad round button to turn on the scanner. |

The scanner is powered on and attempting to connect. If the connection continues to fail, turn the scanner off and then on again to retry the connection. |

The scanner is connected normally and ready for scanning. |
If the scanner is powered on but continues to fail to connect to the PC, refer to the related articles below to troubleshoot the issue.
