To use FREEDOM i, a battery that meets the requirements must be properly attached inside the scanner.
Using a battery that does not meet the requirements, or attaching it incorrectly, may cause scanner malfunction.

📌 How To Attach The FREEDOM i Battery
Open the battery cover at the bottom of the scanner and insert the battery with the negative terminal (-) facing inward and the positive terminal (+) facing outward. Then, close the battery cover.
Even when using a wired connection, a battery must be installed inside the scanner.
1. Remove The Battery Cover
Rotate the battery cover 90° counterclockwise to remove it.
2. Insert The Battery
When inserting the battery, make sure the positive (+) terminal is facing outward.
3. Attach The Battery Cover
After inserting the battery, reattach the cover to the scanner.
- Align the grooves on the scanner with the pins on the cover.
- Rotate the cover 90° clockwise to lock it back into place.

📌 FREEDOM i Battery Status Check
The charging status of the battery installed in FREEDOM i can be checked as follows.
1. Checking the Battery Status via the LED Panel
After inserting the battery and turning on the power, you can check the battery status through the LED panel on the scanner.

After inserting the battery and turning on the power, you can check the battery status by the color indicator in the scanner status panel located at the top-right corner of ScanApp i.
