📌 How To Request MUA Library Addition
When MUA that is not currently supported for PIM scanning is required, new MUA library addition request can be submitted by following the procedure below.
1. Verify PIM Scanbody–Compatible MUA Specifications
Before submitting a request, confirm whether the MUA meets the PIM scanbody compatibility requirements.
If the MUA does not meet the specifications below, library addition may not be possible.
- PIM-Compatible MUA Specifications:
- MUA head diameter: ≤ ⌀4mm
- MUA head height: ≤ 3mm
- Platform diameter: ≥ ⌀4.2mm
MUA specifications can be verified through the manufacturer’s catalog or by contacting
the supplier or sales representative.

2. Download The MUA Library File
If the MUA meets the PIM compatibility requirements, download the corresponding MUA library file and attach it when submitting the request.

3. Submit MUA library Addition Request
After preparing the required information and files, submit MUA library addition request to DOF.

※ After submission, the library addition process may take approximately 2 weeks to over 1 month, depending on the situation.
※ For accurate compatibility verification, physical MUA samples may be additionally requested.
DOF continuously conducts compatibility testing with major global implant systems and regularly updates the supported library list.
If there is an implant MUA system that is desired to be added, please contact Customer Support.
