📌 Change PIM Project Before Scan 

If the PIM project needs to be changed before starting the patient scan, refer to the instructions below.

1. Change PIM Library 

Change the selected PIM library by following the steps below.

• Open the project and select any tooth to enter the Indication.

  

   

• Select 'PIM' in the Indication window, then click 'Select Library'.

• Select the desired library, then click 'Reflect All'.

  

   

• Verify the updated library, then click 'Save & Scan' to start the scan.

  

2. Change Prosthetic Information 

Add or modify the prosthetic information in the PIM order by following the steps below.

• Open the project and select any tooth to enter the Indication.

  

   

• Select the prosthetic type for the implant position, then click the 'Adjacent Teeth' icon. The adjacent tooth type is automatically updated based on the selected prosthetic type.

• Click 'Save' or 'Save & Scan' to save the changes.

  

   

• The selected prosthetic type can be verified under 'Selected Tooth' in the project information.

  

3. Change Number of PIMs 

If the number of PIMs, tooth positions, or arch was selected incorrectly before starting the scan, change the PIM order by following the steps below.

• Open the project and select any tooth to enter the Indication.

  

   

• In the Indication window, use the mouse to remove or add tooth positions to change the number of PIMs and the tooth positions.
