① Immediately after use, rinse the scan body under running water to remove saliva, blood, and other contaminants. ② After rinsing, clean the surface of the scan body for at least 50 seconds using a soft nylon brush under running water. ③ Immerse the scan body in a diluted detergent solution (Endozime) for at least 5 minutes, then brush gently with a soft brush for at least 30 seconds to remove any remaining debris. ④ Rinse the scan body again with filtered running water for at least 50 seconds. ⑤ Wipe the scan body with a soft, lint-free dry cloth to completely remove any moisture. ⑥ If stains remain after cleaning or if the unique pattern on the scan body is damaged, the scan body must not be reused and should be replaced immediately. ⑦ After cleaning and drying, place the scan body or the entire PIM KIT in a sterilization pouch and seal it securely. ⑧ Sterilize the sealed pouch in an autoclave (steam sterilizer) according to the specified sterilization conditions. |
